You can say we’ve been doing this for a long time!
Patti Whitley-Miller grew up in a loving family that sang throughout Southern California from the time she was a small girl, and they faithfully continued to share their heartfelt music with diverse audiences until 2020. In addition to her strong family roots, Patti also worked with several Ministries and sang with various talented quartets across Southern California for several years, which helped establish her as a well-known and highly respected member of the West Coast Gospel Music community. We are truly thrilled and honored to have Patti as a vital part of this Ministry, and we deeply appreciate her meaningful contributions both behind the scenes and on the platform, enriching our mission to spread uplifting, salvation-centered messages through music.
Pam Hunter-Layne began her singing journey in her teenage years, growing up in Southern California. When her father’s renowned quartet, The Crownsmen, found themselves in need of a singer, she initially stepped in as a temporary replacement but quickly impressed everyone and secured her place as a permanent member. Deeply cherished within the Gospel Music community, she achieved remarkable recognition by winning the 1979 Western States Quartet Convention’s “Favorite Male Tenor Award” — an extraordinary honor, especially considering she was female. This award stands as a powerful testament to her exceptional and undeniable vocal talent.
Kevin Bailey began his musical journey at the young age of 12, playing trombone weekly in the church orchestra as well as in school ensembles. By the time he graduated from high school, he was regularly performing with various bands and orchestras throughout Southern California, gaining valuable experience and exposure. In July 1981, he became a member of Harvest as a bass player, and within just a few weeks, the group informed him that he would also take on the role of singing baritone. This would be the first time Kevin & Pam sang together, as she was also a member of Harvest, marking the beginning of a musical partnership and friendship that spans 5 decades! In 2017, Kevin founded Gateway Music Ministry, continuing to serve not only this vibrant ministry but also holding positions in other ministries, including a quartet based in Texas. In 2018, he launched the Network Of Christian Artists, a dedicated organization focused on mentoring emerging artists to help them nurture their talent and develop their abilities in ministry and performance.
The history of our members spans several meaningful decades, reflecting a rich journey of dedication, growth,
and shared passion for music and ministry.
